
Police in London, Ontario are continuing to investigate a serious motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and another vehicle that left one person critically injured Sunday night.
According to the London Police Service, emergency crews were called to the intersection of Hyde Park Road and Sarnia Road at approximately 9 p.m. on May 31, 2026, following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they found the motorcyclist suffering from critical injuries. The rider was transported to hospital by paramedics for emergency treatment. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision was also taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police confirmed that all drivers involved in the crash remained at the scene and are cooperating with investigators.
Roads in the area were temporarily closed while emergency personnel treated the injured and gathered evidence, but have since reopened to traffic.
The investigation has now been reassigned to members of the London Police Service Road Safety Section, who continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Investigators are appealing to the public for assistance. Anyone who was in the area between 8:45 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Sunday evening and may have witnessed the crash, or who may have dashcam, residential, or business surveillance footage, is being urged to contact police.
